Good luck! Finnish is one of the most difficult languages to learn... :D

I bought a dictionary "finnish/french"...i was uterly flabergasted! lol French grammar is a dificult one, i know, but finnish is really horrible!

Finnish is pretty fucking hard language to not only explain, but learn. I'm quite suprised someone would even try that. :D A quote from Wikipedia: Finnish is a member of the Finno-Ugric language family and is classified as an agglutinative language. It modifies the forms of both noun and adjective depending on their roles in the sentence. It has a reputation for being difficult to understand and learn. This is mostly because there are few languages closely related to it, making the vocabulary unfamiliar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_language

I think that finnish is not VERY VERY complicated (i have try to learn it...a little bit..) but i comprehend nothing ! My Professor have said:"If the aliens came, the first language that they would learn would be finnish "....Why? - because there is not exceptions like for example, in russian ... So I WANT TO LEARN FINNISH FOR SPEAKING FINNISH !

So I WANT TO LEARN FINNISH FOR SPEAKING FINNISH ! haha, are you an alien??? i also tried to learn it, but i got only to the basics. Our language is even more difficult however...though hungarian and finnish languages are said to be close relatives, (and this theory proved correct to me, while translating TK lyrics) we have far more cases (81 !!!) than finnish has...anyway, both finnish and hungarian (and all the languages that use suffixes instead of prepositions) are really most logical, but of course its not true that there are no exceptions...
